Nadine Faye James is a professional designer and illustrator. Her work is regularly exhibited in Stroud and she recently (2008) contributed - with Alice Goodenough - to the Random Stroud project and exhibition. Philip Rush works as an English teacher in Gloucester. His poetry has been published in magazines including The Rialto, The North and Smiths Knoll and in several books, including Carcanet's New Poetries IV. He won the Ledbury Poetry Festival prize with his poem Percebes and has read at the Aldeburgh Poetry Festival. His theatre studies textbooks are published by Rhinegold. He plays the fiddle with ceilidh band Between the Acts. In October 2009, his first full collection, Big Purple Garden Paintings was short-listed for the Aldeburgh First Collection Prize.
